Anyone Hear
This audio-included post reflects how poetry can both provoke and heal while deepening and widening the distribution of poetic wealth. Here's hoping you find value in this start of our journey.
New Poem
The world stage has the leading roles now taken by people driven only by power and a moral vacuum. This poem aims to counter this misperception by using the ‘how does our garden grow’ metaphor to express how the human capacity to plant and grow a loving world lives in each of us. Being humble, gentle, patient, just and compassionate are the enduring attributes for meaningful strength and purpose to take root. Please click on arrow to hear poem, Anyone.
5, 7, 5
As part of this year’s message content, I am also including a haiku based on the traditional format of three lines with the first and third lines having five syllables and the center line having seven. The goal is to have the haiku reinforce the underlying message of the specific post.
Just The Two Of Us
Also, as part of this year’s post content, a couplet is featured based in the traditional two line, rhyming form. As with the haiku, the goal is to have the couplet reinforce the underlying message of the specific post.
